The second Azadeh Innovation Award event was held on Wednesday, October 17, at the Presidential Innovation and Prosperity Fund, where teams presented their projects to investors.
The purpose of this event was to honor the memory of Engineer Azadeh Danandeh (former President of the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs and the Tehran Provincial IT Organization), facilitate experience exchange among startups in various fields, promote and expand entrepreneurship among women, and create opportunities to introduce startups to investors.
The Azadeh Innovation Award was held in three categories: Buds (Innovative Ideas), Startups, and Companies with Innovative Products.
A total of ۱۳۵ teams registered for this event, out of which ۷۷ teams were selected for the initial review. Among them, ۶۸ teams advanced to the screening stage, and ۴۰ teams progressed from the training phase to the mentoring stage. Finally, ۳۶ teams presented their ideas to investors in the final competition.
The awards for this event were granted in three categories: Seedlings (Javaneh-ha), Startups, and Innovative Companies, with a total of nine winning teams.
The prizes were set as follows:
• Third place: 30 million tomans
• Second place: 40 million tomans
• First place: 50 million tomans
(Note: In the Seedlings category, one team received an honorable mention and was awarded the same prize as the third-place team.)
The Ebtekar va Tose’e Navid Foundation was responsible for sponsoring the award section. Additionally, the CEO, Executive Lead, and Impact Lead of the foundation served as judges.
